Terms of use

Osteonix is a multiplayer social deduction and bluffing game published by 1B2C - BENOIT CRUNELLE CONSULTING (see the legal notice). These terms apply to the app and to the osteonix.app website.

Apple's terms (the App Store standard license agreement) and Google Play's terms also apply. In case of conflict about downloads or payment, the store's terms prevail.

Using the app means you accept these terms, which you can read at any time from the app and the website.

You must be at least 13 to use Osteonix. If you are under 18, any purchase requires the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

The base game is free. An internet connection is required. No email account is needed: an anonymous player session is created on your device.

If you uninstall the app or delete your data, your profile and statistics are lost. A Premium purchase can always be restored with "Restore purchase".

The following are prohibited:

• names that are insulting, hateful, discriminatory, sexual or that impersonate someone else;
• cheating, exploiting bugs and automation;
• bypassing protections, reverse engineering (except where the law allows it), overloading or attacking the servers;
• any unauthorized commercial use.

The game's theme (a witch hunt, eliminations) is fiction and does not target any real person or group.

• Premium is a one-time purchase, with no subscription. It lets up to 14 people play and unlocks four extra roles, more narration variants and visual themes.
• On the web, Premium is sold by 1B2C - BENOIT CRUNELLE CONSULTING and paid through Stripe, under our terms of sale. In the App Store or on Google Play, payment, invoicing and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own terms.
• By confirming the purchase, you ask for immediate access to this digital content and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once the content is supplied (article L221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code).
• Premium bought in a store is tied to your Apple or Google account; bought on the web, it is restored with the email address used at payment. Either way, use "Restore purchase".

We do our best to keep the game available, without guaranteeing permanent availability (maintenance, incidents). Content may change. If the service is ever shut down for good, we'll announce it in the app at least 3 months in advance.

You benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services (articles L224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code), which cannot be excluded. Apart from this guarantee and unless we are at fault, we are not liable for damage resulting from misuse, a network outage or your device.

If the code of conduct is breached, we may remove a name or block a session, after a warning where possible.

The app, its artwork, texts and narration remain the property of 1B2C - BENOIT CRUNELLE CONSULTING. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the app for private purposes.

The version in force is the one published on this page. Significant changes are announced in the app.

These terms are governed by French law. Before taking any action, please contact us at contact@osteonix.app. As a consumer, you may bring a claim before the court of your place of residence or any other court with jurisdiction under the law.
